A bit about me

I worked for most of my life (some 20+ years) as a pediatrician in pediatric palliative care. I have enjoyed merging the arts and humanities with health and healthcare education as Director of the Medical Humanities-HEALS Program at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Now retired from both jobs, I delight in spending my time creating pottery, hoping to reflect the natural world in clay. I have taken courses at (NSCAD) the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design. I attend as many workshops as possible, as I enjoy learning, enhancing my pottery skills, which I happily share with others!

The picture here, shows me at our place in Spry Bay, Nova Scotia, a wonderful part of our natural world!
